ADOPTED! Chali Robert Dittman told Chali: "Here is a BellyRub for you/one that is long overdue!"
Lynn Dittman sent Chali a Virtual Belly Rub!
Randall and Clara Jackson gave Chali a Virtual Belly Rub.
Wow, did we luck out! Some fool in Mount Juliet, Tenn., dumped Chali, a stunning 10-year-old girl, at the vet's and told them to put her to sleep. The reason? She's old and she barked.
Well, their loss is our gain! Chali is a happy, gregarious basset who is thankfully unaware of what her so-called people had planned for her. She loves hanging out in my office, watching me work and following me around from room to room, wagging and just being with me. She's great with other dogs and you'd never ever guess from the way she moves and jumps and plays that she's a senior. If you didn't know better, you'd think she's around five or six.
And as for the barking? Nope, not a problem at all. She'll mutter a bit and share her opinions freely, but she's not a big barker. (Oh, okay -- when dinner's late, she's been known to bark a little. But that's it.)
Chali is HW-positive and is undergoing treatment. Other than that, she's got no health problems.
Do you need an office footwarmer and someone to hang with? Then consider adding this sweet soul to your pack. To make her yours, fill out an adoption form right now at our web site.
