Tennessee | West
Tennessee If you previously adopted a basset
from TVBR or WTBR and want to add a photo of your hound or some special words
about your hound, please . He is especially friendly to persons who adopt
rescues. And if I have something wrong, just tell me. I will fix it.
Chester came from the Chattanooga office as a stray.
Chester was adopted back in the fall to a wonderful family in North Georgia.
Chester lets Sydney dress him up and he follows Sydney everywhere she goes.
If you look at the big smile on Sydney's face you can see how much she loves Chester.
Buddy was adopted by J Chris Harville II. He came from
Chattanooga.
Chris says, I had been looking for a basset for a awhile when I found out about
the rescue. I got Buddy back in Fall and he has been happy here every since sleeping.
Henry was adopted by Diane Weatherford in Amelia, VA
Diane has waited for Henry for a year, until she got moved in, and settled with
a new fence to get him. It was love at first sight for both of them. He is doing
so well with her! 3 woofs and a tailwag for Henry and Diane!

This is our adopted basset, Baxter. We adopted him in the summer of 1998 in Franklin,
TN. His hobbies include laying on patio furniture, chasing bugs and basketballs,
and long walks. His pet peeves include vacuums and rain. He loves to sit and watch
our hamster and turtle and has been a welcome addition to our new family. We'

him home right away!

Peachy was adopted by Rob and Anne Paullin of Winchester,
VA.
Peachy has touched our hearts like no other. She is 9 years old and
full of energy. Let me tell you a 9 year old comes with knowledge only learned
through experience. She rules the nest when it comes to the boys, and she
has decided she is Mom to everyone. I look at the scars on different places
of her body, the teeth she is missing (vet says knocked out by a hard force),
and wonder how she can still love and trust people. Peachy loves life!
She loves tennis balls, follows me where ever I go, tennis ball in tow.
Such a big heart for a tiny little soul. We feel truly blessed to have her
in our lives. - Anne Sadly Peachy has passed over the rainbow bridge.

For Emmy, The best was saved for last. Read about Emmy's
Gift The Sabel Family wrote to us and said, "Since bringing Emmy
and Molly into our home we have found a joy lost to us in the recent departure
of our beloved basset hound, Jethro. Still grieving the loss of our pet,
we welcomed them into our home and were instantly captivated by their sweet and
gentle nature. Emmy is truly a treasure and we all have marveled at her
apt ability to get around despite her blindness. Our miniature schaunzer, Coco
has taken great joy in helping Emmy become familiar with her new home. Molly's
playful nature has also been a joy as we all have enjoyed her exuberance to be
in our home. We thank you for the opportunity to give Molly and Emmy a good
home and are grateful for the love they have given us. Sincerely, The Sabel

has crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. His last two years were heaven on earth
for a dog. He will be missed by the 15 people at the Tennessee Vol Football
tailgate who loved him, fed him junk food, and dressed him in a orange cape. Flash
never barked,..he HONKED! He would honk, and people would stop in their tracks!
Flash was 12 years old. He came to TVBR with an old fracture of the hip,

of his age.
